Overview

Seeking PM for established local engineer company that specialize in Commercial, Federal, State, City and Private work. Their mission is to provide quality projects on time, within schedule, safely and according to contract documents.

The Project Manager is responsible for the execution of multiple projects within schedule, budget, plans, specifications, and contract documents. They will be managing the Superintendent and Project Coordinator assigned to each project.

The Project Manager must be able to establish good relationships with the Owners, Clients, Subcontractors, Design Consultants, Government Agency Officials, Employees, and the General Public which requires sense of urgency, honesty, fulfilling commitments made, ability to multitask, sensitivity and professionalism.

Responsibilities

  • Reviewing plans, specifications, contract documents, estimates and proposals to determine schedule, procedures, and staffing requirements.
  • Close monitoring of budget throughout project and having budget meetings with Owners
  • Close monitoring of overall schedule throughout project.
  • Review of submittals
  • Review of subcontract agreements, purchase orders, and other agreements
  • Preparation of RFI’s, Change Orders, Billings, etc.
  • Collaborate with Superintendent/ Foreman and Project Coordinator

Qualifications

  • High School or equivalent
  • Construction Experience: 5 years (Preferred)
  • Construction Management Experience: 3 years (Preferred)
  • Blueprint Reading: 3 years
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Project, etc.)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • High sense of urgency, ability to multitask, ability to adapt to different personalities
  • Supervise and manage effectively and objectively appraise performance of those they’re managing
  • Experience with scheduling, budgeting, and contracts
